ALEC’s vision is a national system delivering up‑to‑date, trustworthy living syntheses of health research to support better decisions and outcomes. As part of this work, ALEC Climate Health provides world‑class expertise in synthesising evidence on the health impacts of climate change—a rapidly evolving field where guidance is urgently needed.
To ensure ALEC’s work is co‑designed with the people and communities most affected, we are inviting applications from individuals with lived experience of health conditions who also represent communities particularly vulnerable to climate impacts.
The Advisory Group will meet twice in 2026 (March and May). New members will receive orientation, ongoing support, and an honorarium for participation.
Members will help shape research priorities for ALEC Climate Health, offer strategic advice, and provide feedback on how evidence syntheses are planned, conducted and shared.
We especially welcome applications from First Nations people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those living in regional or remote areas.
Applications closed 16 January 2026.
