Early-onset Bowel Cancer: Where is clinical guidance most needed?

21 April, 2026

A vital first step in developing guidelines for early-onset bowel cancer is identifying the clinical topics where guidance is most urgently needed. What areas are likely to have the greatest impact on care and outcomes?

We invite you to complete a brief (5-10 minute) online survey to help identify and prioritise the topics that should be addressed in these guidelines.

We are seeking input from those involved in caring for people with early-onset bowel cancer including

  • healthcare professionals,
  • researchers,
  • policy makers, and
  • people living with or beyond early-onset bowel cancer and their partners/carers

The survey focuses on the diagnosis and management of EOCRC and asks you to consider:

  1. topics with the highest uncertainty in clinical practice
  2. areas likely to have the biggest impact on patient outcomes
  3. topics where evidence is evolving or practice is changing

The survey will take 5–10 minutes to complete and your participation is voluntary, anonymous, and very much appreciated.

Broad input is essential to ensuring Clinical Practice Guidelines reflect national priorities and areas of greatest need.
