The ALEC team is all set to launch a process evaluation of the LEAPP guidelines later this month. The ongoing evaluation will help us identify opportunities for improvement in methods, processes and outputs and shape our approach to current and future guideline development.
Our evaluation involves quarterly data collection from activity audits, online surveys and semi-structured interviews with a cross-section of LEAPP contributors. We invite the whole LEAPP team including members of the Evidence Team, Steering Committee, and the clinical and consumer panels to reflect on their work and experiences developing the guidelines, then ask them to share their thoughts on what’s working and what’s not.
This ongoing evaluation will enable us to track the progress of the LEAPP guidelines as they evolve, and shape our processes and outputs. More broadly, this work will also help us improve the design and development of all of ALEC’s current and future living guidelines. We look forward to sharing the results and using them to deliver the best possible LEAPP living guidelines.
