Help shape Australia’s new Perimenopause and Menopause Guidelines

Are you experiencing perimenopause or menopausal symptoms?
Have you reached menopause within the last three years?

We are now inviting people with lived experience of perimenopause and menopause to apply to join our national Lived Experience Panel that will help shape Australia’s new Perimenopause and Menopause Guidelines.

The panel will consist of 15 people from a range of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. No previous experience is required. Training, support and payment for participation will be provided.

We would particularly like to hear from people who are experiencing perimenopause or menopausal symptoms, or reached menopause within the last three years; and identify with one or more of the following groups:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • People who were born overseas, speak a language other than English at home, or come from a diverse cultural, ethnic or faith community
  • Members of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • People who live in regional, rural or remote areas
  • People who are unemployed, on a low income, or hold a Health Care Card
  • People who sometimes find health information difficult to understand
  • People with disability
