Discover what leading minds are thinking

Learn from an incredible line-up of speakers discussing many different aspects of evidence synthesis. Explore with us how research will be viewed in the future, what tools and solutions are already at our fingertips and what is still ‘pie in the sky’ thinking.

Melbourne, VIC
February 16th – 18th, 2026

DAY 1: LIVING GUIDELINES WORKSHOP Aimed at individuals with some experience in developing clinical guidelines and who are considering either developing a new living guideline or transitioning a traditional guideline into living mode. At the end of day one, participants will better understand traditional versus living guidelines as well as how to develop and maintain a living guideline.

DAY 2: LIVING EVIDENCE SYMPOSIUM We’ve brought together global experts to address some of the key challenges facing today’s researchers and evidence synthesists. We will disentangle the complexities of the current landscape and provide practical insights into how living evidence can be used to bring clarity to the work of researchers, guideline developers, policymakers, clinicians and evidence synthesists.

Join us for refreshments after the day’s events to talk about your highlights and learn from fellow participants.

DAY 3: AI IN GUIDELINES – AN AUSTRALIAN LENS We’ll explore what AI can realistically offer, where it fits into the Australian guideline landscape, and how to ensure its use remains ethical, evidence-informed, and people-centred.
